How to Login to Your Joomla CMS Administration Panel

To manage your website content and features, you will need to login to your administration panel. If you have received a welcome package with your Joomla CMS website, you should find within that package a direct link to your administration login, along with the original login username and password.

To find your administration login, first open your web browser and navigate to your website home page URL. For example:

http://www.website.com/

Verify that your home page loads correctly. Verify that your webpage has loaded correctly, then change the URL in your browser address bar to include the word "administrator". For example:

http://www.website.com/administrator

You should now be given a LOGIN prompt for your website administration. You will need to have a valid USERNAME and PASSWORD to proceed.
